On September 18, 1995, Garland County Habitat for Humanity was incorporated by the State of Arkansas and the organization has positively impacted the community ever since.
Over the last 25 years, safe, affordable housing for nearly 150 low-to-moderate income families has become a reality. Throughout the history of Garland County Habitat for Humanity, not only have deserving families been able to purchase a home, but the organization has also partnered with countless businesses, other community organizations, and volunteers to build homes, strengthen the community, and provide hope to hard-working people.
Despite the economic hardships of COVID-19 and the public health crisis faced by many families, Garland County Habitat for Humanity continues to build. The importance of home has never been greater, and now, more than ever, we need the support of our community to help families build their lives, stronger. Stable, affordable housing is invaluable to our families, our workforce, our essential workers, and our community, but we can't do it alone! In a time of uncertainty, not only do we continue to build, we build back against the odds!
