2021 President's Appeal

2021 President's Appeal
Dear Fellow Board Members and friends,

As President of the Board of Directors, it is my honor and responsibility to send the Garland County Habitat for Humanity annual appeals letter. This year has been one of adjustments, changes and adaptations--but through it all, we have continued to make Habitat for Habitat a thriving organization in our community.

Over the last 26 years, we have given hundreds of people a stable, secure place to call home. This has sent a ripple effect throughout our community. We have seen our homeowners better themselves personally and professionally; we have seen countless children graduate high school and college; we have even seen homeowners pay off their mortgage...a goal we all aspire to achieve! None of this would be possible without you. At its core, Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer organization and I am grateful for all you do to make this organization a success.

With the end of the year approaching, I would like to take this opportunity to challenge each Board Member to give to the President’s Appeal campaign. The amount that you give is not important. What is important is that we strive to attain 100% board giving participation. Financial support from the Board of Directors shows donors, foundations and grantors that our board is fully committed to seeing Garland County Habitat for Humanity grow and flourish.

In closing, I want to thank each and every one of you for giving of your time, talent and treasure to our organization that we hold near and dear to our hearts. It is a pleasure to work with such an extraordinary group of volunteers and I look forward to many more years to come. We should all be proud of the work we have accomplished and the number of lives we have changed for the better over the last 26 years.
