GCHFH held its sixth annual Heels to Hammers event during the week of October 5-9. During this week-long event, over 150 volunteers came together to frame two houses for two deserving families.
Several local faiths participated in this year's annual Apostle Build. The Apostle Build is an annual event that where local churches help build a house by providing financial means and volunteers.
The churches participating this year are Congregation House of Israel, Christ of the Hills Methodist, Holy Trinity Episcopal, Christ Lutheran, Sacred Heart Catholic, First Baptist, First United Methodist, St. John’s Catholic, St. Mary’s Catholic, Levi Hospital, Community of Joy Lutheran and Presbyterian Kirk in the Pines.
With your continued support, GCHFH will continue to grow and provide more housing opportunities for deserving families in Hot Springs and Garland County!
